In the winter mountains
During a snowboarding trip, I found myself in quiet, empty spaces. People came and went, but the machines were always there, steady and reliable. The combination of the enormous, age-old mountains and large scale machines stood out to me. It felt simultaneously overwhelming and comforting to me.
