Wimer Hazenberg has studied photography in art school and holds a MSc in Artificial Intelligence. His creative tools consist of photos, data and code.

He is fascinated by all the ways computers can create something that’s aesthetically pleasing to humans. This has led to a series of generative artworks in which he explores how algorithms and carefully applied randomness can generate art that’s both surprising and within the intented contstraints.

Wimer was born in 1981 and originally is from Friesland, The Netherlands. He’s currently living and working in Amsterdam as Tech Director at Clarify.
