Isle of Skye, Scotland

We heard there was a mysterious structure somewhere up in the mountains. While looking for it, a thick fog suddenly surrounded us. Disoriented, we walked around a long while.

We never found the structure.

Isle of Skye is famous for its film locations. Some scenes of James Bond’s Skyfall were filmed here. We found the location of a shot in the film where Bond and M look over the Scottish lands on their way to home.

Walking around some of these parts, you feel small. It’s as if the giant forces of nature that caused this landscape to form are visible in the vast rock structures around you. The combination of cold hard rocks and lush green valleys makes it both terrifying and beautiful.
