A place of wonder
The 16th century garden of Bomarzo is the work of Piero Francesco Orsini, who created it after his wife passed away. Its symbolism remains unclear.
Stone giants
Massive sculptures emerge from the forest floor. A screaming face with an open mouth you can walk into. Fighting giants. A leaning house that defies gravity. Each one is strange, unsettling, beautiful.
Lost to time
The park was forgotten for centuries, overgrown and lost to time. Rediscovered in the 1950s, it remains deliberately enigmatic. No clear path, no explanations — just monsters in the woods.
